IN REGARDS OF METRO'S 6100'S

I was told by a shop man that Southern is getting all of the 6100's in replace of 4000's fleet. also the person who assign buses to the garages stated that southern will not get brt buses but in replace of the flxible fleet we will get 6100's/6200's. we have expanded our garage fleet from 128 to 140 we can accomadate the M6,V5,90,92lines. They are tryin to make out if we can get V7/8 lines but I dont think we can just wait and see.

Annex isn't suitable for hybrids because of the height clearance of the battery compartment as well as the age and condition of the garage.

Say its gonna be a boring division because its true LOL!!!. Just ask Bladensburg and the C40LF's or FMR and the Orion VII's although I like the 2600s above 2615.

yeah...the only thing is that Bladensburg has at least some diversity (they have some 2600s, 4052-4065, some 9300s, and some lower 4200s), plus, I like the C40LFs, they run nice and fast, and now that they're getting rehabbed and repainted in the new scheme, I love them more than ever now.

as for FMR...yeah they have some of the John Deere buses, but almost all of them run in special routes (2620, 2621, 2638-2664, 2666-2668 are PikeRide buses, 2669-2673 are 9S buses, 2674-2685 are REX buses, the 2700s are suburban express buses). The only John Deere buses that FMR has that isn't branded for any route is 2637 and 2665 (although 2665 is in the express scheme, it tends to show up on regular routes more, unlike back then when it was a PikeRide bus). And even though FMR has these two buses, it's like finding a needle in a haystack (for non-branded routes), the grand majority of them will be those slow Cummins buses.

if Annex were to be all D40LFR, it would be like FMR where there's no diversity except the suburban seating in the latter set, the only thing is that this would be better since the D40LFRs run much faster than those slowpoke 2500s, plus, some 3900s and 9300s might stick around anyways.

Besides, there'd be a fleet hole if all the Flxibles were retired now. Might there be another order of LFA's for 2010?

For Lanodover the LFA's replaces the 6100s I don't know about Mongomery so I agree with you.

Wouldn't Montgomery also get LFA hybrids as well, though?  I thought they were getting a portion of these buses.

The 30's (not including the 31, 37), the A's (not including the A11, A12), C11, C12, C13, C14, D12, D13, D14, M2, M6, M8, M9, NH1, P17, P18, P19, V5, W2, W3, W4, W6, W8, W13, W14, W15. I think Annex also does the W19, but last I seen and heard, Royal does that route.

The 32, 36 Foggy Bottom Station, Also Annex shares th P17, P19, W13, W15, and W19 with Royal. Plus the V5 in the Morning with Bladensburg. Now their trying to get FULL time V5 and the 90, 92, and maybe the V7, V8, V9.

Annex took the M6 back in March FULL time. Plus if they get the 90,92 and V7 V8 wouldnt they have to give up some routes?
