I wonder where else those old triangular signs might exist. I know the old Silver Spring bus bays had a few (the J1/2/3 area mainly) until the recent better end.
Now, who can fill us in about what the old E1/E6/G4 (and the then-E2/E4) were and what their replacements became.  ;)

Lol. That is funny. I'd thought Metro replaced all the old signs, but there still are old signs still lurking around. That's an awesome find. Where exactly is that sign?

I don't think anything replaced the E routes.  Those used to operate from Lewisdale to Lafayette Park prior to the Red Line opening in the 70's and then I thought they turned back at RI Ave Station for some time after that until Fort Totten opened.

The G4 I think turned into the G8 which now runs to Farragut Square.
