Ok I haven't really seen this bus that much, but I wanted to discuss it. What do you guys think about this bus and which T/As you think should get them?

Well looks like Metro has some of those, but I have never seen one and I think the silver buses I have seen were a different make.  Hey, anything beats an Orion VII....

The Orion VIIs are cool. Metro doesn't have these. They have New Flyer DE42LFAs.

OK, there appears to be a pic of one in Metro colors on the web site.

Maybe OT, but why do you like the VIIs.  As a rider you can't see out the front, stadium seating, and they don't seem to be holding up well.

The sound. They sound better than the C40LF in my opinion. When you get tired of hearing the same bus over, and over, and over again, it gets pretty old. I have nothing against the C40LFs, I just think the VIIs sound better.

BTW: That's a DE40LFR not an Xcelsior.

I like the sound too. In fact every time I go to DC I always looks forward to riding one.

If anyone happen to find out anything new about the Xcelsior, can you post it here? Thanks.
