What Is Wrong With This Photo?

This shouldn't be too hard. Here is the photo:

And here is its caption: Riders crowd the Friendship Heights platform following a delay. When the rail system is being repaired, Metro's managers sometimes opt to reduce bottleneck by having trains turn back in the other direction.

Answer to be posted after midnight Saturday (Eastern US) if no one gets it by then.

My guess would be Gallery Place. Platforms seem a little narrow to be Metro Center.

I agree. I can just barely make out "enter" on the right-side pylon, and the platform seems wide enough.

I agree with the Metro Center answer. Plus, that station really does get that crowded, even on Veteran's Day when Metro decides to run on a reduced schedule...

That is the back of the train and it is going in the correct direction, not being short-turned.

I said Metro Center because there seems to be an opening in the middle right side. The only other 2 underground red line stations that have side platforms are Dupont Circle and Gallery Pl Chinatown (unless I forgot one). Dupont Circle has no openings on the side and Chinatown has the opening all the way on one side of the station. Going to the direction of Glenmont, the opening for Chinatown (to go to the green and yellow lines) would be all the way in the front, plus it doesn't have escalators parallel to the red line platform like you see on the left platform in this picture. Also, the fact that you can see the "next train" sign helps a lot. Give us more mystery pics, this is fun.

A bit off topic for a sec, I've never seen Metro Center (or any Metro station) get so crowded like that.
