Where did 2467 go???

I'm assuming you're talking about 2461...that bus (along with 2460, 2462, 2463, and 2464) disappeared nearly a year ago, around the time the 2001-02 New Flyer C40LFs were finishing rehab. It might be because they have John Deere engines and they were converted to Cummins because JD no longer makes CNG engines and therefore there were no parts available (I saw 2461 in person but didn't pay attention to the sound, so that theory isn't confirmed yet). 2464 was brought back to service around December 2010/January 2011, but still has (or had) its JD engine (I checked its GPS randomly about a month ago and saw that the location was at a Cummins facility somewhere in MD, so it might have gotten an engine change). No one really knows why it's taking so long for the 2460s to come back to service, but now that 2461 is back, there's hope that the other 3 will come back too, eventually.

Long story short, it disappeared along with the other 2460s and finally came back, so now 2461 and 2464 are back, while the rest are apparently sitting at Bladensburg (2460 and 2463 have functioning GPS units that show that they've been sitting at Bladensburg recently, after 2/3 of a year of not updating and now finally being updated, it should be a good sign that they will come back to service soon. 2462 is the only one that doesn't have a up-to-date GPS reading, but the latest reports say that it's at Bladensburg as well.

Forgot one from my actual camera (dunno why I didn't bother to take the other pics with the camera...)

Ever since I got my new phone, I've been eager to come down to DC to get pics and video. Here are some of them from yesterday.

Nice shots Adam. I've been MIA with my photos. I missed an Xcelsior opportunity monday with the H4 in Mt. Pleasant ><. Always prepared but never ready.

They extended the "Yellow Rail Road" past Huntington! "We're out of the woods..."
Another trio taken yesterday...

Nice pics Adam. Still don't know why some of the Xcelsiors won't show their correct headsigns. It reminds me of the time with the 09-10 LFAs that Northern has when they couldn't get the right block numbers to show up. Hopefully, they'll fix this issue soon.
