ART's finally getting the ex-GEORGE SLF's out in service: Saw 5293 in ART colors with all signs reading "CHARTER" on Veitch St. between Wilson Blvd. and Lee Highway.

Also saw 2652 on the 16Y (in PikeRide colors) detouring on the Roosevelt Bridge rather than the usual Memorial Bridge.

5422 on the 29, sporting an advertisement for SWA's "new" BWI-Boston service, starting August 16.  Don't tell anyone, but I flew that service about 11 months ago.  I wonder if SWA just didn't bother to update its advertisements on the buses, or if the county is having trouble selling the space, or some combination thereof.

To stay on topic, Southwest has put newer ads on Ride On buses, both a  generic "Service to Boston Logan, Providence and Manchester" ad and one  for the launch of their "Beaches of Southwest Florida" (Panama City)  service that started up in May. I think Southwest bought a long-term  deal and Ride On sees little point in updating an ad if the money is  already paid.
