Yeah they do some runs that interline with the As, basicly what the Southeastern used to do to accomidate the school kids.

Either there was a lost metrobus driver or Ride On is borrowing  one of Metro's DE40LFA'. There was a metro local LFA going traveling down Montgomery Village Ave when i saw it at Montgomery village ave and walkers choice road...very strange to see it there lol even though there at lakeforest during rush hour.

I'm sure it was a J7/J9 (or even a J7/J9 deadhead).  Yes, you'd expect it to be an Express LFA, but local buses often show up on the J7/J9 as some trips are interlined with local service.  I won't bother going into the Local/Express branding debate, but I'll summarize by saying... I'm against the "Express" and "Local" branding at WMATA because they regularly do interlining between express and local routes.

Then yes, that is indeed a strange sighting.  I have no idea why a Montgomery bus would be heading into Montgomery Village.  Even if it was doing something like going from the J7/J9 to Olney to cover a Y or Z2 trip, I'm not sure why it would stay on M.V. Ave.

Metrobus: 2407 on the 5A on Sunday, 5/10/2010 on Route 267 (toll road), destination "L'Enfant Plaza Station."  I was driving right next to it and paced it at 70+ mph on some of the downhill segments and a steady 65+ on the uphill segments.
