5904 broke down at GTC just half an hour ago; it must've been waiting to do the 100, since when I left on the 61, there were at least 30 people waiting in the 100 shelter, plus the 55 and 74 had already left at that point. Also, just before I left, I saw 5412 ending a 75 run, ChrisF, so that must've been a lightning-fast layover between Hillandale and Clarksburg, huh?

5730 has begun to spew black smoke just like its brother 5727; I saw it do so on the 100 this morning.
In addition, I rode 5909 on the 55; this bus was pretty vacant and it also came a few minutes early. For a 35-footer on the 55 on a weekday, that's a pretty uncommon sight.

In addition, I rode 5909 on the 55; this bus was pretty vacant and it also came a few minutes early. For a 35-footer on the 55 on a weekday, that's a pretty uncommon sight.

The fact that it was empty is uncommon, but the sight of a 35-footer on the 55 seems to be getting more common these days.
