The Three Keys to the Redskins Success this Year

Snyder is a huge problem, you can't buy championships.  I think part of the reason we have Zorn now is that no established coach wants to put up with Snyder, aside from Joe Gibbs who is essentially a god in Washington and Snyder would have even more problems if he ever slighted Gibbs in any way.

Get rid of the owner, Daniel Snyder, then, MAYBE we can stop trying to buy a winning team, and let the players play.

In the 80's. .  Jack Kent Cooke didn't buy 3 SB Championships. .  he hired the best available coaches & mgr's (Joe Gibbs & Bobby Bethard), sat in the owners box & signed the checks.

Since JKC passed away, and Danny Snyder bought the team, we (Redskins & Their fans) been the laughing stock/doormat of the NFC East.

Already this year, we are ranked at the bottom of the NFC East & I don't see it getting better anytime in 2009.

I agree 100% let's name the failures Mr Snyder has brought to DC.
-Jeff George (strong arm ain't s*** if you can't lead a team to victory)
-Deion Sanders(on his way down from being one of the best corners in the league)
-Adam Archuletta(sp) (Que? he couldn't hit air and couldn't stop a feather)
-Trung Candidate (One year wonder that we wondered why they got him)
-"The Old Ball Coach (He sucked so bad as coach I  forgot his name, he probably ruined Patrick Ramsey's career).

Join in Skin's fans name that Daniel Synder highly paid failure.

I forgot to mention that Jack Kent Cooke may have been feeling up Sharon Pratt Kelley, but he did what it took to field a winning team.  He got the right people to run the team and choose the players, he got the right coach AND stuck behind that coach when he had a sub-par first season and  all he did was write the checks and called the Skin's fans the best anywhere.  I was so rooting for his son to get the team, it's a shame he didn't.

Pretty much every coach that Snyder brought in....he shouldn't have tried to persuade Gibbs to come back either.  I felt bad for him, but it was cool that he came back for a little bit. I'm surprised he hasn't tried to bring back Mark Mosely, Gary Clark and Art Monk.

Just remembered Steve Spurrier.  I think he should have stayed with Marty Shotenheimer.  Marty was turning the team in the right direction.  And to think, Marty went to San Diego annnnnnnnnnddddd they only went to the playoffs, almost every year he has been there and after when Norv took over.

And Dan Snyder got his big name coach, and yea, two seasons of Ramsey getting killed and no playoff berths whatsoever, while Shotty was basically turning the Chargers into what some are calling a possible superbowl contender.  I forgot the schedule, but if Norval is coming back to town he will definitely be enjoying his stay, after getting dismissed by Snyder, he gets a plumb job running one of the elite teams of the NFL and getting to laugh in Snyder's face for letting him go.  Heck he is laughing in Al Davis's face for the same reason twice a year.

I think the problem with Marty is that he wasn't taking any (and rightly so)of Snyder's crap.

That year he was here was crazy.  The 'Skins started off 0-8 and won their next 8 games.  If only they had won another couple of those games they could have made it into the playoffs.

Let's see, week 3, nearly lose to the awful Rams, lose to the REALLY awful Detriot Lions.  This team is loaded with talent and THEY LOSE TO THE FREAKIN LIONS............THE FREAKIN LIONS!!!!

I will be a Skins fan till the day I die but for some fair weather fans are jumping off the bandwagon.  With this said I think Zorn needs to go, but before Synder hires another coach, do what the late Jack Kent Cooke did, get a good GM, let him do the hiring of the next coach, let the GM and the coach get the players that is needed to field a winning team, and all Synder needs to do is write the checks.  If worked for Cooke, 3 superbowls, putting the Skins up there as one of the elite teams of the NFL and getting fans.  So far Synder's interference has lead to )0 championship appearances, 0 superbowl appearances and losing respect in the NFL.

At least when Skins went to the playoffs, at least they won a few since 1996 (that was a shot at you smug Cowboys fans who think the Cowboys are the ish).

After years of constantly being subjected to disappointment, bad decisions, bad draft picks,bad contracts, overpriced tickets and overall mediocrity, I am deciding to sell my loyalty of the Washington Redskins for the rest of the 2009- 2010 NFL season. I will sell my "fan-ship" and support any of the 30 OTHER NFL teams.. Notice, I didn't say 31??  Thats because, I under no circumstances, will I ever root for the Dallas Cowboys!!
