With WMATA ready, willing and able to retire many of its remaining Flxible Metro Bs, Ds and Es (93/9400s, 97/9800s and 4000s respectively) as I type this, I would like to be kept track of what particular units in all series have been individually retired.

According to Brandon (who assumes the YouTube screen name of "landoverdivision321"), several 9300s and many of the 35-foot 9400s are still in service after 19 years; actually out-performing all its newer kinfolk.

They'll probably get orange crushed and maybe painted in the new schemes. But I highly doubt it
the 93/9400s would be legends

Ben some of the 9300s in service got their new LEDs from some of the retired Flx-Ds. i can estimate about.....25-30? Flx-Ds are retired and about 2 maybe 3 Flx-Es are retired.

What?!  They retired Metro Ds and Es already?  But yeah, it's kinda funny.  All my favorites (SEPTA AN440s, NJT Metro Bs, and WMATA L10 Metro Bs, have had healthy lifespans of 18 years or more!  They sure made me proud! *tear*

How hard is it to get an 93/9400 nowadays?  I'd like to try again for another "final ride" one day soon.
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...

Well here at Landover Division territory, not hard to find at all especially at Cheverly and New Carrollton. And now a lot of 42LFAs are really starting to come in. But Landover has a crap load of 93/9400s so it wouldn't be that hard to find here.

We have alot at Annex also and our Metro E's still running strong however I think they should stay another year and get repainted and sent to random divisions like the 93/9400's. Or at least be used for special shuttle service.
Oh yeah how many Metro D's are still running at Landover?
