All T4, T5, & T6 routes operated along same basic routing at todays E2 & E4 routes (No Ft Totten back then), and up Wisconsion Ave to Bethesda. Thats where the routes split into different directions, before meeting back up on Rockville Pike.

T4 operated via Old Georgetown Rd, N.I.H. Bldg #10, operated into a big horseshoe loop where current Bldg #10 sits.
T4/ N.I.H. had its layover there.
T4 ROCKSHIRE VILLAGE continued back to Old Georgetown Rd, to Rockville Pike/E Jefferson St/N Washington St/Hungerford Dr

Nelson St/MD Route #28/Hurley St
I Don't remember exact routing of T4 in Rockshire Village (Sorry)

Layover for the T6, was the same as the C4 back then. .  Next to the Admin Building.

NOTE #1:Operator Street reliefs took place at 14th & Kennedy N.W. AND at Friendship Heights.

NOTE #2:When the REDLINE was extended to DUPONT CIRCLE & the E2, E3, E4 was created to operate via Military Rd/Ivy City/Riggs Park, the T line was shifted to operate to DUPONT CIRCLE, via Massassecuhetts Ave. It also operated as a T4/T6 LIMITED.
