T.V's on metro busses???

Has anyone else seen T.V's on any metro bus because 2674 has one.

Eventually. All apart of the MetroChannel thing thats on the table. Rail is supposed to be getting it with installation of those 61" TV screens in the stations.

are you freaking serious dude, what line was that bus on i want to see this, if it really do i can see now it might on happen in va right now an some maryland routes i cant see no bus in dc with no tv on it on the x2 line lol

2674 is an FMR bus...specifically a REX bus...so you know where to find it...

You wouldn't know what to do with one. There was a RAC meeting last year regarding the Metro Channel and demoed one of the screens. Basically, the current PIDS signs are going to be replaced in the near future with LCD screens and maybe new LED signs. The PIDS now can't efficiently convey customer information and they are showing their age. Hopefully when things get back on track, they'll continue with the project.

I mentioned that on 2674 months ago. When you saw it, was it actually working? It's been there forever not doing anything.

Oh no it was not on,and i diddn't see you post on 2674 sorry.but the bus drivers were siked about it and calling other bus drivers over...lol,

While TVs on buses may seem to be great, unfortunately sattelite TV on a bus isn't fantastic. Rabbit Transit offered sattelite TV on their original Rabbit Express buses, but unfortunately the signal would often be lost in the trees/buildlings

It's okay that you mentioned it again, I was just wondering if it was working because it wasn't when I saw it.
