August 2009 Observations

Hold up so you are sayin that 9318 is a Northern Bus, I didnt know Northern even had any Flx's besides the 9700's ............... And 9312 is a Landover bus so were is the break off at?

Also do anyone know about metro still useing the old garage near Ballston I rode past there the other morning around 830a and there was one bus parked over were the operators cars use to be an the other bus was parked on the old garage lot there i didnt have a chance to get a pic?

With the Metro Bs there is no breakoff, they are being switched all of the time, so who knows where 9318 will be tomorrow.  If Northern has any Ds left, they are very few and far between as I haven't seen a Northern 9700 series in weeks.

The Arlington is closed and has been for over 5 months.  All of those buses have been moved to West Ox.  It might be still owned by WMATA(that's if they own it at all) and might be so till the lease runs out, or till ownership changes hands.  I have yet to see a for sale/lease sign anywhere on the property though.

I also saw 2181 on the T2 at Goldsboro and River last night. Could Western (or Northern) given it in exchange for "borrowing" some of Montgomery's part of the LFA order?

Brandon says he saw 2179 on the N4 with an M block the other day, so it's possible that some of Western's 2100s are going to Montgomery.
Speaking of 2100s, 2173 is now a Northern bus, does anyone know where 2171 and 2172 are? (as well as the rest of the 2170s?)

Word just in that Mongt just got there 1st New Flyer BRT @ there divison this morning, also from my understanding all of the Express buses @ Western will be going to Mongt once the rest start to come in.
