Awww man! Those new Gilligs look sweet. Im loving that new scheme to kinda. That scheme kinda makes me think of a retro 70's kinda look because its so light. Thanks for the photos.

Ray wasn't kidding about a new scheme. I was kinda hoping for the current blue but this one's pretty good. I'm surprised they got hybrids again. I can't wait for these to hit the streets.

Agreed. And the lights actually look decent on these. FINALLY! Though the clean diesel exhaust looks kinda weird on the hybrids. But man that scheme is awesome. And Ride On has a new logo? Didn't see that coming. Wow definitely gotta ride these babies when they go into service.

Hmm!  Not feeling that much at all.  First, I wish they hadn't gone with those pastel colors.  I think the original color shades were much more classy and still vibrant.  IMO, it's hard to take these colors seriously.  I'm honestly not trying to be negative here, but I'd expect colors like these on a bus at Disney or something like that, but not at a public transit agency.

Beyond the colors, I'm sorry to see the small brake/turn indicators.  Also, I think they should've continued to get the additional high mounted turn indicators/hazard flashers on the rear of the bus.  I always thought these were necessary to have in the Wash, DC area.  Anyone who disagrees... imagine driving down a typical steet like Georgia Ave (in Montgomery County) where the right lane is also a regualr driving lane and a bus is stopped ahead.  It's much easier to see those high mounted flashers from a distance.

I see Ride-On is also re-cycling the numbers on these gilligs, from their 1st shipment of Gilligs from the very 1st order of 57 from back in 1989 (Bus numbers 5300 - 5356)

The arrows kinda remind me of the new MTA branding on all of their materials.
Also, the new scheme seems to represent an earthy look toward hybrids. Blue for the sky, yellow for the sun, and green for the grass.

I like the colors but I would prefer that the blue-yellow-green break be moved forward towards the middle to relieve the all blue sides. However, as is it does appear to be "wrap ready", which may be the point to the scheme.

The scheme is not bad, though I prefer the older colors, like more deep colors.

Though I must say, it's not bad. I wonder if Ride-On will change the 5700 hybrids to the 5300s, like they changed 5567-5569 to 5997-5999

If it was a darker blue and a darker green, it'd be close to perfect. That with the current shades = awesome!

Wow!  That sure is different, but I think it makes for a great hybrid scheme.  MUCH better than the scheme on the current hybrids.

I'm not feeling the new logo, though.  It's a bit...plain, especially with the old logo that Ride-On (excuse me, Ride On) once had that was pretty nice.

While I think the shades on this bus are nice...for now (wait til they get dirty serving the Silver Spring Metropolitan area!), darker shades would be awesome, especially with the rich blue on the current diesels and the green from the CNG buses.  I'm also glad that they went back to the black back somewhat.  The white backs on the hybrids weren't that great, and the white backs with the black outline on the diesels was just weird.

Too bad there are no more "big rear lights", but having the upper ones at that same size was a bit excessive in opinion.  I'll miss the stripes, and I continue to miss openable windows, but hey, this is still quite nice!  Now it's DASH's turn!

I really like the new scheme.  Ride On needed a makeover.  Now, if they would only buy more CNG's.

You would certainly expect buses with those colors to be located in more "tropical" areas.  However, Ride On is supposed to be the "friendly, community bus" so I guess the colors make sense.

I am a fan of deep, rich colors, so I do wish they kept those gorgeous shades of blue and green that they have been putting on the buses lately.  However, the scheme is great for the hybrids - wish they thought of this beforehand.

 Anyone know what happened to bus number 5755?  Apparently it's in the new scheme as well...and is NOT a hybrid!
