Probably because most people have today off from work, but they're expecting enough ridership to justify Saturday service???

I swear when I checked the site this morning, it said Saturday Service will be on July 4, not today...I wish I knew earlier...

Just saw 6420 in Local colors deadheading down 14th St at Columbia Heights. This makes 3 known Local 42LFA's at Northern, the more the better?
UPDATE: Also saw 6413 on the S4 at Silver Spring and a couple other LFA's coming in and out on the S2 and 70. Heading up 16th, I also saw 5313 on the S2(!!).

Went past the ART House this evening and saw that the GEORGE SLFs have been relocated since ART will now be running that service (hell of a deadhead....).  New numbers are 5293, 5295, 5296, and 5299.  I couldn't find any ghosting of the old numbers but will keep my eyes on it so we can get an idea of what became what; they now have VA Local Gov't plates so we can't trace by license plate either.  Obviously there's no logic, unless they're still in order (3951 = 5293, 3252 = 5295, so on).

Do these numbers fill any gaps in the NABI numbering?

I originally saw (or heard) this in April and forgot to post it.  A WMATA Orion VII now has door chimes like the 60BRTs, except it also says (sometimes) "Thank you for riding Metro" while the rear doors are open.  I think it was #2681.
