Yes. FINALLY!
Fairfax got Orion VII NG's
Arlington got NABI LFW's
CUE is getting Gillig BRT's.
Virginia is getting smart on what to spend there money on. Now the only person left is DASH? Are they hiding under a rock or something? Tristan?
I think DASH might order either some Orions or Gilligs. They are in the process of building a larger garage at S. Quaker Lane to accommodate more buses.

Imagine a Gillig advantage in the DASH paint scheme. Now that will be cool to see. And if they want to go with Orion the only option they have is the NG.

Oh yeah and spotted a 9400 40 ft Flx B with the original tail lights today i think on the F6.

I don't think there is a 9400 with the wrap around taillights.

There still are a couple that do. I forget the numbers though.

I know some 9480s and 9490s do but I don't know about the lower 9400s

speaking of 9400s...I saw 9400 on the F4 or F6...as well as 9308 and 9312

in addition to those sightings...4308 has some Green Energy wrap, 2207 has a Boost Mobile wrap, and...

4322, 4323, 4325, 4328, and 4329 remain at Montgomery
6360 on a northbound 30s run at Georgetown
6413 on a northbound 52 run at 14th and I
can anyone find where 2058, 4317, the 4330s, and rehab #1300 are? (I found rehab #1301 which was 2422)

I don't think there is a 9400 with the wrap around taillights.

There's a few of them that retained their original wrap-around taillights.  9318, 9330 (I think), 9352, 9357,  9373, 9373, 9386, 9408, 9490, and I think 9492 also.

is 9373 still in the old scheme? last time I saw it (nearly 4 years ago) it was in the old scheme...I guess it's changed now
...same with 9379, 9383, and 9384...all of which I haven't seen in at least over 3 years ago

Any 40 foot year 1990 Metro B is now in the 3rd scheme.  Buses like 9310, 9304, 9345 were all in the second scheme when stored and were repainted when they came back.  There are still a few 35 Metro Bs in the second scheme.

Stored?  Came back?  So, I guess with the ridership increase, Metro Bs came back to service?  Cool!

I remember seeing (and attempting to photograph) 9304 when it was on the Silver Spring/Fort Totten shuttle...several years ago when they were doing Labor Day construction on the line.
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...

Forgot to mentioned that on Wednesday afternoon I spotted a hybrid Gillig BRT heading south on I-270 in Bethesda.  It appeared to be for CUE??? Bus number was 830.
About time. Do you remember if it was a 30 or 35 footer?

I think it was a 35 footer.  It was sort of hard to tell as it was travelling southbound and I was heading north.  I had just enough time to see the CUE graphics and bus number.
