Countless 42LFAs out today. With the exception of a couple of blocks, the rest of the blocks on the 31/32/36 were all 42LFAs.

In the VERY brief time I was in the DC area today, I saw 9399 on the 96 by Union Station (at least, that's what the rear sign said.  I couldn't believe I was looking at a Flxible on a Saturday, much less one of my good old L10 Metro Bs!      Too bad I couldn't run out and ride it...

At least 2 D42LFAs were on the E line today, I didn't get numbers on either one though since I was too far away to see them

Hey guys bad news: 3 Flx-Ds at CET are now retired! And if WES is correct it looks like at least 7-10 more are up next. Landover had 9324 along with 9340-9344. 3 DE42LFAs were visible at Landover this time where the eye could see. I didn't see the 3rd one but 2 of them were numbered 6346 and 6355 WITHOUT the wheel covers.

Saw a mini circ heading down Veterans Pkwy earlier.

6016 and 2084 were doing J7/J9 trips this afternoon.  I'm used to seeing the occasional hard seater D40LFR on the J7/J9, but an Orion VI is extremely rare.

2545 was on the 32 heading for......................Pentagon.  And this bus had just passed Washington Circle, heading towards Georgetown.  It was probably goingt to terminate in G-town, but it's so funny seeing something that weird.

What it looks like is that those buses are accepted at Landover and then driven over to Carmen E Turner to get the wheel covers put on, installation of the fareboxes, radio etc, as Bladensburg that used to do it doesn't anymore (I have passed by Bladensburg a lot and have rarely seen any LFAs there) I have seen LFAs sitting in Landover before, locals and expresses, and the next day they aren't there.  As those come in, the buses in the back are probably those that are getting their fareboxes taken out, parts stripped for other buses etc.

That's my guess.

Saw 2451 haulin' a** pass our F12 the other day then sat at Landover Station for some odd reason. Anyways, if noone mentioned it before (which I'm pretty sure someone did) it is rehabbed.
