How many times have we told you that damn 9310 is still at CET?  Do you read prior posts?  Someone said it was there after you asked, then you asked again to whcih I replied that you needed to read an above post and then you ask it again.  I hope it gets crushed soon so I can shave with it.

Curious METRO observation on 4/24/2009 at Minnesota Avenue and Benning Road NE at 11:45 am: #5407 (60' NABI artic), in revenue service with passengers, displaying destination sign "M31 McKinley High School."  The "M31" doesn't operate that time of day and comes nowhere near Minnesota and Benning.  Does someone hear the Twilight Zone theme. . . ?

hmmm...either it's a detour they're taking or it's a different route with that sign displayed

o wait...since it doesn't run that time of day...I guess it's just the wrong sign display.

Ride-On

Literally 3 (not 2...but 3) 46 buses back-to-back headed northbound (something going on at Med Center?) They were 5928, 5709, and 5813.

CUE

Saw a CUE bus (824) at Constitution and 7th Streets NW...with the sign saying "SPECIAL". Interesting...
(got a picture of it too, i'll post that, plus more, in the photos thread)

Why is 9310 important, why is it at CET and what is a truck bus

Honestly i dont know the story of 9310, maybe they want to retire,overhaul it or something and what some of us call a truck bus is a cutaway.

I was in the shower and when I came out, I noticed 2 messages were left on my phone.

It was Ken...saying that he just saw 6427, 6428, and 6433 on the S9...I'm assuming they're in the express scheme.

Rumor has it that a lot of the LFAs will be in service come May 3. Not sure. I figured those Express LFAs at CET were going to be in service soon. Time to head back to SSS.

So far 5 LFAs are on the S9. 6424, 25, 27, 28, and 33. I want to take a stab and say that Northern might get 14 express buses. The locals might stop around 6420 since 6418 is local. The express bunch might be 6421-6435 but we have to see how many more buses come down CET. It seems like the ones that are there already might be ready to ship out to their perspective garages. Still no word on when the DE37s will come in let alone the fleet numbers.
