In the most recent photo (taken 3/13/09), 9310 was seen in the background behind 6424 & 6425 (both of which are not yet in service).  I found it in the "CET photos from Friday the 13th" section.

That doesn't answer my question...

The Z2 now stops on River Road at Landy Lane according to the bus stop sign posted at that location, but I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for a bus to Silver Spring from that location...

Also saw 5408 on the 23, I didn't realize the 1997 Gilligs were at Nicholson, I thought Nicholson only had the 1999s.

I saw some WMATA bus stop mistakes in Takoma Park today also. The "F2" apparently goes down Philadelphia Ave now...

5404 & 5408 are loaners from Silver Spring.

yea speaking of random numbers appearing on bus stops...the Ride-On stop on Somerville Rd (the stop right before Shady Grove West...near Redland Rd), it says routes 53, 55, 57, 63, 66, 59...and 80. I never heard of the 80 before, and I remember before they changed that sign to the newer one, the route 80 appeared on the sign, and even when they replaced that sign with a newer one, the route 80 still appears on the sign. What was the route 80? I never heard of it before, it must be a discontinued route...

Just saw an Orion I on the 23 within the past 30 minutes, but I was too far away to catch the number.

Oren, You have failed your Ride On trivia again. There was a route 80 and yes it did operate out of Shady Grove Station (West) to King Farm. It didn't last long because the King Farm Shuttle was instituted.

Totally forgot about that (obviously).  That must have been about 10 years ago at this point and very short lived, right?

I was racking my brain and running through the numbers to see if anything rang a bell, and nothing did which is why I made my original post.  Funny thing is as soon as I read your reply, it came back to me.

I think we have an undisputed Ride On trivia king on this board, even if he has a slight advantage over all of us ;-)

Today I had a chance to ride the J4 an 9813 popped up the bus is off the chain, she rolled like a champ pull off was GREAT I dont know why there going to get rid of these coaches
