How likely is it that WMATA may, in the future, decide to purchase double decker buses.  I guess if double deckers could be bought, would any of the garages be able to handle them.  I would think that Montgomery, Landover, Bladensburg, FMR and the soon to be open West Ox and the being built new Southeastern would  have the height to handle them.  The only other problem would be certain routes that may have bridges too low (which I wouldn't think there is a problem), since all of the bridges seem high enough that a bus of that type would go under.

What do you think.

As much as I want to see double deckers in service, there are the height restrictions around the area (especially with low bridges). The garages would have to be expanded to accomodate them. I could only see them running in the district, but not so much as running in MD or VA given the low hanging signals as opposed to being pole mounted. Speaking of double deckers, anybody have any idea who operates the Sightseeing buses and where their garage in MD is located?

Gray Line does and their facilities are off of Tuxedo Road, in Cheverly.  The F2 passes by there, after leaving the Cheverly Station.  They also house Peter Pan buses.

Dennis Tridents on elevator shuttles, I can definitely see that happening daily.

Enviro500s for me. or even the Enviro400. Time to bring that model to North America.
