Yes, on 2/11/2009 I saw 6221 with the "4173" on the C2 about 10:15 pm at Wheaton Plaza.  Earlier at about 5:45 pm I saw 6200 operating the Q2 southbound at Veirs Mill and Connecticut in Wheaton displaying "4317 Silver Spring Station."

6221? There is no 6221.

waiting for the 65 to mont.village  at shady grove 5910 rolled past with the back all taped up with duct tape, it seemed to be holding the hvac cover in place. I have seen this on a few northern buses and a couple in nyc. Is it commom for t/a to use duct tape for (temporary)fixes like that?

Some of the more interesting sights of the day:

1st - Just a decent grab shot.

2nd - NABI Artic working Yellow Line Shuttle.

3rd - Old Girl still hanging on at Glenmont before a C7 trip.

4th - New Carrollton Station

5th - One of the rarely photographed The Bus Orion V's.

6th - If only the sunlight was better.

Is 5407 on the Metrorail shuttle?  Good place for the artics to be this weekend if they were.

Nice pics!

Yup, it's at L'Enfant Plaza.

Speaking of which...

THIS QUESTIONS IS FOR WMATA EMPLOYEE:

WHY DO THEY STACK 6-8 BUSES DEEP ON THE METRORAIL SHUTTLE ENDS SO EACH OPERATOR GETS LIKE 30 MINUTES OF LAYOVER AFTER EACH 20 MINUTE TRIP BUT PACKS THE BUSES LIKE SARDINES AND WONT LET THEM LEAVE TIL THEY'RE FULL TO THE DOORS?

Western, but as wmata employee says, it looks like Western's Orion VIs are going to VA.

Will all of Western's Orion VIs go to VA or only some or will Landover's and Montgomery's Orion VIs join them? Stay tuned for the season premiere of this season's Bussian Roulette!
