We were in a meeting yesterday to talk about the overcrowding at that station with buses and other vehicler traffic. We will do a study sometime next month to see if we can send buses in the areas of (SW. DC),there was talk about elimanating A5,A7 lines and A42,46,48 lines. This coming budget is terrible so a lot of metro jubs will be cut and a lot of bus, rail, metro mobility service will be cut as well. Here is whats coming in the march pick and aswell summer schedule changes are below:

A2-SOUTHERN AVE STA.-L'Enfant Plaza
A4-DC.PLAINS-ANACOSTIA STA.
A6-ANACOSTIA-LIVINGSTON RD.
A8-ANACOSTIA-SOUTH CAPITOL STREET.

NEW S9 Route will cut down on bus traffic in the silver spring area this will be a limited line to help current S2 trips.

Looks like the number 9 will be the number for MetroExtra...just like the number 1 is for the Potomac Park routes (31, H1, L1, P1, S1, X1...yeah I know there's others like D1, F1, J1 etc but yeah)

Anyways, that would make sense...but would this S9 go through Alaska and Eastern Ave like the S2 does? That doesn't make much sense, but other than that, the S line really needs a limited-stop route.

I was banking more on the S4 side getting the limited stop service. Straight shot down 16th Street.
