For reasons noted previously The Orion VII is my least favorite bus.

Route Rex destination Woodlawn.

Okay let's not have the Orion VII sucks discussion again.  But, this is not hearsay anymore, at least 2 of them were on property last time we checked.  There's a thread here that mentions it somewhere.  The one I saw was numbered 9773, right behind the 35' New Flyers (with the highest of those being 9769).

The REAL Landover Division fan!

No, not yet.  They are probably being inspected and everything first.  Not every system gets their buses out as fast as Ride On does.

I thought the New Flyers went only up to 9768.

Well anyways, I'm looking forward to this, I like Orion VIIs.
Route Q2. Destination: Silver Spring Station

Tritransit Area

You know what? Finally we have an easy opportunity to ride a standard diesel Orion VII. There aren't many of them around, particularly in the Northeast.

Happy riding - can't wait to see pictures!
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...

WES

9788 should be there also.  I saw that heading down I-495 in MD a few weeks ago.  I must say they look pretty good in the "Lifesavers" paint scheme.

Sorry for the bump here,

However, as I live in Mississauga I'm lucky as I can check out Orion on a regular basis. There are more Fairfax Connector NG's on the production line, as there are a crapload of shells sitting at the back of Orion and a few have already been sent to Oriskany for completion. This was a few weeks ago, so they may already have arrived!
