That's not saying much for this franchise when Wes Unseld is second in terms of wins.  This team has only won one championship and probably could have won a few more in the 70s.  They had a pretty decent young team in the 90s when they had Webber, Howard and the drunk..*ahem*.. I mean Strickland.  Why that team was disbanded, I don't know.  Also you figure who they had and let go in the past makes you wonder WTF this team was doing.  Names like Ben Wallace, Rip Hamilton, the aformentioned Chris Webber and Rasheed Wallace.  With the right coach this team could have been a dynasty but now these other players have gone to other teams where they have won one or more championships.

I mean getting Ernie Grunfeld was a step in the right direction, so was getting Eddie Jordan.  I think the upper management should have gotten the players they needed to take the Wizards to the next level and make this team a contender.  Now unless this Eddie Tapscott can turn this team around, I see more disappointing years for the Wizards and I thought Washington area sports was going to get better.

I guess to update this post Eddie Jordan is now the coach of the 76ers, and Flip Saunders is the new coach of the Wizards.  I see the 76ers getting better as the Wizards did under Jordan and probably having a better run than he did with the Wizards.  It always happens, when someone leaves the Wizards and go elsewhere they become better. Go Figure.

As for the Wizards, their only weaknesses were injuries and defensive issues, those get solved and they can contend against "Dunked On James" (I too dunked on Lebron James and Nike took my footage away), and against the best in the west.
