Sand Box John

WTOP reported the train derailed in the tunnel railroad north of the West Hyattsville station. The passengers were evacuated from the rear of the train and out the emergency exit on Kirkwood Place (29th Avenue) and Ager Road.

The evacuation was completed in around 90 minutes after the train went on the ground as the emergency exit was around 100' from the train.
