Which routes are the best bets to find an Xcelsior on? I know they're solely at Montgomery and Bladensburg but I've had the worst luck trying to find them lately? Are ab other garages due to get some of the later slots in the order? Thanks!

I'd try waiting near North Capitol and Mass.  I'm seeing plenty of them on the D8, D6 and 80.

I often see them on the R.I. Ave lines (82,83,86) also B2

Transport

Go to Vienna Station to see FFX Connector's Xcelsiors.  Most all of the Vienna routes use them.

I have seen a lot of them on the routes that serve the Minnesota Avenue Metro Station (U2, U5, U6, U8, V7, V8, etc.)  Sometimes I have seen multiple Xcelsiors at that station at one time.

Western is suppose to get the rest of the order but word on the street is that Northern might get them. We'll see.

If Western were get some of them, some of the 2000s or 2200s might be moved elsewhere. I also wonder when the 4200/4300s will be retired.

Have the Xcelsiors been released for weekend service yet?

Oh, that's terrible!  Is it normal practice for the brand new buses to not run on weekends?
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...

It took a while for the LFAs to see weekend service. I doubt you'd see many Xcelsiors out because of the reduced service on weekends. I do remember a time where I got a Flxible on the J2 on a Saturday a few years back. That's the first time I've ever seen a Flx out on a weekend.
