It's official.  There will now be transit to Kemper Street train station in Lynchburg.  The new service is called the Smart Way Connector and is an offshoot of the commuter coach service that now runs from Roanoke to Blacksburg (which the Connector will also serve at peak times).

Again, this will sadly start with 16-passenger cutaways.  Hopefully people will utilize this service, as it already begs for expansion with only two staggered trips per day.  On the bright side, Smart Way itself started with Freightliner BOCs and upgraded to MCI D-Series coaches within its first 5 years, so who knows?

Once all the goats are rounded up, the German tourists are extradited, and the syrup trucks are returned, you'll have to admit that you never saw that one coming.
