And Now, Here's Your GRTC News Update!!!

Folks just here to pass along a couple of recent updates on the GRTC.

1st, for those who may not of known GRTC was recently declared the Best Transit System in North America by APTA (Take THAT Tristan!!!, j/k). And trust me, they've made everyone aware of it.


2nd, they've recently received 15 new Gillig Low Floors (#301-315), with 9 in service and 6 about to be put in service next week. These buses were going to replace the 900's but because of INCREASING ridership, John Lewis Jr. (CEO of GRTC) had to pull a Catoe and place a "no-toss" order on the buses. I would have some pictures and a video or two, but thanks to my girlfriend's niece destroying my f---en camera, that'll have to wait (along with my D.C. trip plans).
