I know it's WAY too early but since the Skins put an a** whoopin on Terrible Owens and the Cowgirls (BTW the Skins were an 11 point underdog to) in Dalla** how does a Skins superbowl sound right about now.  I mean personally I would wait till all of the games are played to make that decision, but the way some Skins fans are around here, they get a big win or go on a winning streak, they start to buy superbowl tickets.

What is your opinion?

Not this year.  They let Dallas come back so I think their defense needs to play all 4 quarters and not sit on a lead.  I'm a 'Skins fan, but I don't think we'll see them in the SB this year.  Give them a couple more years to mature.

Even though I'm not a fan of either team, Dallas could've won that game. Redskins are 2-12 at Texas Stadium, so they are far from being as good as Dallas. I'm a Tennessee Titan fan and we're 4-0 right now so I could care less about Dallas or the Redskins lol.

They've played more than 14 times at Texas Stadium.  I think their record there is better than that, but not much better. They've had some classic games particularly in the 80's during the Gibbs/Landry era.

I'm just stating what I heard. But again, neither team interests me. The reason I never want the Redskins to win is because people brag about it for weeks and then they cry and moan when they lose. It makes me sick.

The 'Skins have a nice winning streak going and they seem to have suprised everyone.  Before the season started I had them being a team not to be taken lightly as they have some weapons.  I think Jason Campbell is a very good QB with a cannon and he's getting better.  I was impressed that they handled Dallas and that they didn't beat themselves with lots of penalties.  I think their schedule (of non NFC East teams) is favorable.  Although they won part 1 against Dallas, I'm betting that they won't have much success against NFC East teams.  As long as the Giants beat the 'Skins I'm OK.

The 'Skins are looking good.  I think if they can stay consistent, they can easily make the playoffs.  Now once the playoff start, I don't like their chances.  But, who knows, because last year I was worried for my NY Giants after the wildcard round of the playoffs and look how that turned out.  I like that the 'Skins made the real Owens come out.  I always said that Owens has been on his best behavior because he's been happy - and why shouldn't he.  He has a nice contract with a strong team and they were winning lots of games.

OK - Now that we're just beyond the midpoint of the season.  The Redskins are looking really good.  I've been impressed with Jason Campbell before he became a starter and I always knew he had some great years ahead.  The 'Skins are lucky as heck to have Campbell.  I'm happy to see the Cowboys are not so well, but they still have a chance for the playoffs.  Even the Ravens looked good lately.  I'm happy that the Jets are having fun and I'd love it if they could knock off the Patriots next week.  Most of all I'm thrilled with my team the New York Giants.  Sure we had that one loss to Cleveland, but we've run over everyone else we've faced.  The bad part is that we have the toughest part of our schedule coming up.

Any other NFL fans on-board?

HAHA Yep. Titans 9-0 Giants 8-1 Giants are my fav NFC team and Titans are my favorite team overall. Can anyone say Titans vs. Giants in the Superbowl?

Topic split.  Continue on with Redskin's playoff/Super Bowl chances.  As I type this Landry just intercepted the ball for the 'Skins and the capitalized with Randle El scoring a TD to give the 'Skins a 17-10 lead (3rd quarter).

WES

The Skins won (barely again), 20-17.  It's ironic that Shawn Springs (first round pick of the Seahawks), got the interception that sealed the game for the Skins, after LeDell "Butthead" fumbled the ball.  Sad to say, the Skins have a better road record than a home record...........sounds similiar doesn't it.  Of course the Giants defense (I hate to say) was better than the Skin's defense, but at least the Skins defense is good enough to keep the team in the game and their special teams seems as good or better than the Giants.

The Skins are in second place in their division(via a tie breaker over Dall-ass) and their remaining games puts them in a better position to make the playoffs over the Cowboys.  The Skins toughest games seem to be now only the Ravens and the Giants.  The Skins might lose against the Ravens because of this odd fact.  The Redskins are 0-3 this season in night games, and guess what the Skins v Ravens game is.....at night.  The only good thing is the Skins are a better road team than they are a home team this year, so a streak will end on December 7th (I sure hope it is the night game losing streak).  The Cowboys still have to play the Ravens, the Steelers and the Giants and with their defense not as good as the Skins, the Eagles and Seahawks games could be closer than expected.  So if the Skins keep ahead of the Cowboys,  and every thing else stays the same, then the Skins go to the playoffs and the Cowboys stay home and Terrell Owens can enjoy some popcorn ........at home.

Alrighty now, we now know that the game 38 miles to the north has been moved to Sunday night.....anybody going?  I'll be there rooting for the Purple birds (sorry) -- although, if it's any compensation, my other half will be with me and she loves the Burgundy & Gold

What in the HELL was that  yesterday?

I lost track of the schedule but heard that they were playing the Bengals on the radio at about 10 AM...I said "Oh god, I hope they don't walk in there too confident" and they got MOWED by the worst team in the NFL??

WES

They have lost to the two of the worst teams in the NFL, aka the Lambs (I mean Rams) and the Bungles (I mean Bengals).  Let's just say barring a miracle, the Redskins + playoffs = NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!

It sucks worse when the Cowdung wins---BTW what happened to the Giants yesterday, I didn't see their offense but it looked like they did an impression of the Redskin's offense.

How can a team that started out so good ended up...........7-7, no playoffs possible and a high pick in this upcoming draft.  How about someone who can 1)Catch a ball 2)Don't fumble the ball when they catch and carry it and 3)Knows where a first down is and actually passes it.

Correction. The worst team in the NFL are the Lions.
