If you really want to play around, you could do the original TwinVision Flip/LEDs in the 2100s, where they were more visible in the daytime than at night because only 20% of the LEDs worked at any one time.

A ways back, I made a TTF font called Luminator Medium and posted it somewhere.  It made it pretty easy to replicate old flp dot signs such as those on the WMATA 9300s.  It was on my old "toast" computer.  Anyone have this font from when I first made it available?

I think I still might have it around on my external HD. I had alot of fonts that I had on my old laptop.

Because Luminator makes everything so difficult. I think there is a way to change the color in the sign set option.

Could you speed up the animation of the flipdots?  I wonder what caused them to come out so slowly?

Sorry if I'm harping on them.  They're just really nostalgic for me vs. these newfangled LEDs.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I miss those flipdot signs. I don't know why they keep coming out so slow. When I preview them, they look fantastic, but when I save them,  they  come out slow. I need to find a program that can speed them up. The ones I tried already won't do it. They just do the same thing. I think I'll give Photoshop a try.

I used Macromedia Fireworks to make this, and it's even slower
