This is very interesting good news.  Circulator is growing from just being a "DC Visitor Transit Service" into a bonifide transit service, much like Ride-On, DASH, Fairfax Connector....

Has WMATA's Metrobus system expanded in DC anywhere lately?
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...

I think the "newest" routes in DC are the various express/limited routes they've brought on recently.  I think the S9 is the newest of those but don't hold me to that.  I can't think of any truly new services that have added in the past few years aside from the 79, 30s restructure, and the S9.

QuoteDDOT is also making some small   system changes to other Circulator routes beginning Sunday, August 29,   based on passenger requests.  These include:

  • Union Station – Georgetown service will now enter Georgetown on   lower K Street, serve the Wisconsin Avenue corridor, and exit Georgetown   on M Street heading toward Union Station.

again??? they really can't make up their minds on how the Union Station-Georgetown route should be routed. that route has been rerouted so many times that I don't even know where it goes through anymore.
Route Q2. Destination: Silver Spring Station
