if anything is replacing 2540, it just might be 5318, but knowing WMATA it could be there just for a quick fix even if it's long overdue for a rehab

4374 is at Northern, as is 4288 (which was offline for a while)

Several buses are still online, but with long timeouts, including 4246, 4343, and 4379.

4347, 4367, and 4383-85 have no data.

2034 is back online; it is at Bladensburg. Speaking of which...

<body copyright="All data copyright WMATA Washington 2012.">

I think I may have found 2540's real rehab replacement.

<body copyright="All data copyright WMATA Washington 2012.">
<vehicle id="3017" lat="38.923172" lon="-76.969246" secsSinceReport="283007" predictable="false" heading="-4" speedKmHr="0.0"/>

2618 has been updating a lot lately; a surefire sign that a bus is almost finished with rehab. It appeared at Bladensburg just early this month, but it was offline for a while before that, so it could have arrived during that time slot. And 2622 and 2661 are back online; both buses are at Bladensburg.

5306 has also been updating quite frequently recently (unlike a one-time thing with 5320 and 2086), seems like a good sign, this just may be rehab 1569.

so the next few buses that are due to return to service are 2618, 3010, 2633, 2710, 2683, and 2681 (in no order)
I heard that the REX buses will remain with the REX paint. Until we find out for sure, I'm not coloring in any of the REX buses

also, how do you know 3017 is in rehab?
Route Q2. Destination: Silver Spring Station

RideOn5905

3017's timeout is moderately high. That being said, I could be wrong, but no other Orion VIIs have arrived in 2540's place yet. Yeah, 5318 came up right afterwards, but I don't know if it would really count as a replacement. Besides, I said I may have found its replacement. As in, "I could be wrong, but I could also be right."

In other news, 2179 is back at Royal, and 2185 is on the 70.

Bad news: webservices.nextbus is having some sort of technical difficulties (on my end, at least). To be precise; I get 404 error messages. I hope it gets fixed soon.

2607 at Bladensburg

Looks like 2600 is the only one left with the 38B banner left in service

<vehicle id="2607" lat="38.921028" lon="-76.970436" secsSinceReport="107577" predictable="false" heading="-4" speedKmHr="0.0"/>

this may be the replacement for 2618, though it seems like either it's still taking a test drive or just taking a different route home

Survey says: it is indeed 2618's replacement.

I have three words to say about this: IT'S. ABOUT. TIME. Then again, I had 2607 as one of the last ones on my list...

NewFlyer9736BCT

2607 was in the lower 1600s on my list, though knowing WMATA and how some buses can be in rehab much longer than others, my original prediction may actually be right.
but anyways that sucks only one rehab is back this weekend, there's still 2633, 2683, 2710, 3010, and 5306 that should be due to return to service soon

a lot of buses seem to go to rehab in pairs (examples below, even before the Orion VII rehabs), not too long ago it was 2627, and now 2628 has joined it at Bburg

<vehicle id="2628" lat="38.9231989" lon="-76.970436" secsSinceReport="3085" predictable="false" heading="-4" speedKmHr="0.0"/>

also 2531 is back online, still at Bburg of course

<vehicle id="2531" lat="38.921825" lon="-76.971275" secsSinceReport="104855" predictable="false" heading="-4" speedKmHr="0.0"/>

here's many examples of the pairings: (in which they are + or - 1 or 2 from each other)

3021, 3022 (1541, 1543)
2630, 2631 (1525, 1527)
2529, 2530 (1501, 1503)
2544, 2545 (1475, 1477)
2560, 2561 (1454, 1456)
2461, 2462 (1419, 1420)
2428, 2429 (1286, 1288)
2038, 2039 (1259, 1261)
2092, 2093 (1252, 1254)
2029, 2028, 2027 (1213, 1215, and 1216)
2084, 2083 (1197, 1199)
2002, 2001 (1187, 1189)
2053, 2052 (1167, 1168)
2172, 2171 (1174, 1175)
2147, 2148 (1065, 1066)
4305, 4306 (1000, 1002)
4298, 4299 (826, 827)
4203, 4204 (773, 775)
and no one has found the rehab number of 2618, but it may be 1578, and 2619 is 1576, so that's another

Curious... 2628 is at Bladensburg, but 2633, 2683 and 2710 still are not done yet. My guess is either 3010 or 5306 is done.

4210-12 are at CET. (4213 is still at Western)
