Wonderful pictures as always, Wayne!  Interesting to see all of the wheel covers disappear.  Are the new BRTs that are coming in equipped with wheel covers too?
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...

From what I've seen, they haven't and they are in the process of taking off the covers for the rest of the ones.

Aww Wayne. Beat me to it. The one thing I cant seem to understand is why AU doesnt have fleet numbers for them yet.

Only 30 foot buses though?  Aren't the Phantoms larger?

I love that quality George that cam is beautiful, and I see the 4300s are taking over Maryland, and 4339 still has no Metrobus logo on the front.

ahhhh so THAT'S what it was, I knew something was missing in the front of 4339! speaking of missing, 6192 has no bike rack.

and about my camera, it's a Canon Powershot SX120 IS. I love it, it sure beats my old camera.

yeah...unfortunately too many people in DC don't have the common courtesy to not get out of the way when it's very clear that someone is about to take a photograph.

Or they don't realize what you are taking a photo of, it isn't like you were about to take a photo of the White House...
