$775 Million for buses and bus facilities. Applications due in June.

Tritransit Area

Hmm...that's not a lot of money at all...  Plus it will accelerate the retirement of Flxible Metros and other good aged buses! :(

I think upgrading facilities would be most important, though!  I wonder what kind of match would be required...
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...

I hope Ride On gets some to get some baby Gilligs to replace the Helldorados/make fleet replacements in case the Chumpions never come back.

Is this in conjunction to TIGGER and ARRA?

THE BUS should get some also to replace those horrible SLFs UGH

If WMATA gets some (Hopefully) CNGs, Diesels and a rehabbed Annex and more artics

The press release does not indicate any match requirement. IIRC, ARRA $$$ did not have a match requirement. It's first come, first serve.

Yeah it would be nice to buy new buses for the upcoming X9.
