Nice shots Wayne...a question: where were the pics of 2624 and 9318 taken? I'm assuming it's the H Street bridge over the tracks at Union Station but I could be wrong.

Yup - You're correct.  9318 was heading eastbound on the X1 and 2624 was westbound.

The pic of a Montgomery County school bus was taken in WayneNYC's set.  It don't belong there.

Not very many shots from Friday, but something at least. I missed a bunch of good opportunities while I was fanning PG County, including 9488 on the F1 and 6167 on the T18, but here's what I got...

Nice shots everyone!  When did Fairfax get the D40LFRs with frameless windows?  Also, do ART's newest NABIs only have amber LED signs?

Can't wait to return and do some serious transit-fanning!

ART has Twinvision Chroma signs. Those signs have a very high refresh rate and the color is a mix of green and red so some shots will come out with green or red signs. Plus, it also has to do with the color they set for the signs. Oddly, Luminator Spectrum signs don't seem to have the same refresh rate so you can get pics of them with the color set on the signs.

Interesting.  So the signs in the pictures of the new NABIs above aren't necessarily Amber, but may be green?

I really should go out and photofan the system.  Oy, so much to do in NoVA!
