I don't know how long it's been in service, but I saw it in Silver Spring on the F4 about 3-4 weeks ago.

Probably the demo unit of the DE40LFRs.

The new DE42LFA Hybrids.

March 25, 2010: MetroBus #2226 at Minnesota & Pennsylvania Avenues SE in an interesting ENJOY GERMANY wrap.  The traffic in that area caused by continued road construction would encourage anybody to travel anywhere other than Washington DC.

79MetroExtraMD

I saw that bus on Saturday at Archives and got a few pics of it.

Loudoun County Transit seems to have some new buses. They look like the ones Dillions runs.  Keep your eyes open

Scrabbleship

2317 (rehabbed) on the 79
955380 at Silver Spring with 24 on the rear route sign
025602 on the 38 signed "24 - Takoma"

(Isn't the real 24 one of the routes that has to use the gas cutaways? If so, fun joke by Ride On's drivers!)

Tritransit Area

Hmm...I thought the 25 was the only route that had this requirement.  Are they going to keep the requirement in effect when the Baby Gilligs take over?

Is the 5 still operated by Nicholson in the evenings with cutaways?
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...

I think they'll find some way to either bargain with the neighborhood or do some bizarre order. GE30LFR's anyone?

Those runs are now all Baby Gillig from what I've noticed.

The 24 has come out of Silver Spring for as long as I can remember...
