I was thinking about this for a while, and this was spoken on a few topics in the past. Should the Landover routes, J12, P12, H11-12, K11-13, and the V12 be done by Annex, I mean I know Annex took place of the old Southeastern (Partly) but think about look where these routes go in Annex territory, I mean Annex is not far from Addison Road, then you have the H11-13 which goes from Naylor Road to Temple Hills, but Landover buses operate these lines, and the Annex Division is right there.

Based off what I know about Annex, do they even have enough buses to do those routes? Let alone have any space in the garage for any xtra buses? I think those routes are fine at landover and doesn't annex already do a lot of routes anyway?

This sort of proximity issue is not at all unique to WMATA.  You can find many cases where a route(s) operating area is closer to a particular depot, but the route(s) are actually based elsewhere.  I recall the Annex actually being pretty small and of course Landover can handle a lot more buses.  I'm guessing here, but I'm sure that this is a factor in these routes being at Landover instead of the Annex.

A perfect example of this would be West Ox operating the 13 line. I still don't understand why that division does this line, even though FMR operates it too. Weird.

If that 13 is interlined with another route that comes out of West Ox, then it makes sense.

I'm surprised the N's being run by Montgomery during the week, even though Western is 2 blocks away from Friendship Heights, hasn't been mentioned yet. Same case with the DC L-routes and to a lesser degree the H2/3/4.

In the same vein, would moving the 79 to Northern make sense if they had the room (which they don't)?

Those routes only got shifted from Western to Montgomery when Southeastern closed and there was a ripple effect systemwide.

What did Western get in return? The 60's when Northern took the 90's?

There's another one: The 60's passing by Northern while running out of Western.

Back in the 60's & 70's, NORTHERN operated the "T" line (Military Rd) when it ran down to Ivy City & out to Rockshire Village/Montgomery College, is another example.

Then again, there also used to be a time, when Northern did ALL the 70's, to include the overnight, or OWL service.

Northern also ran the J line which ran from Friendship Heights & Montgomery Mall, to Beltway Plaza, via Silver Spring, PG Plaza & the College park campus of the UofMD

18P. A couple of blocks interline with the 18P in the evening.

That really makes sense. I was under the impression that the bus would come directly from West Ox to start the 13.

When a route has that far to travel, it normally means that it's going to be interlined.  We do that too where a bus that is typically closer to one division comes out of another one because it's going to spend more of its time on a route that is closer to a different one.
