6405 broke down at the Archives yesterday on the 32. Uh-oh if this keeps happening then MAYBE this will mess up the relationship between WMATA and New Flyer like the 2500s did with the Orion relationship.

6405 broke down at the Archives yesterday on the 32. Uh-oh if this keeps happening then MAYBE this will mess up the relationship between WMATA and New Flyer like the 2500s did with the Orion relationship.

I should have also mentioned this fact: Beltway traffic last Friday was horrible and the two buses were back to back (4074 probably was a fill-in for the run that leaves Twinbrook around 5:10 or so). The GPS failure was worse, it took a 5 minute wait at Georgia and 16th (with the bus already 15 minutes late) and a call to central control to boot it on when it was a mile from its end.

The odd thing is that I seem to dodge any Metro breakdowns; I've been on only two offloaded Metrobuses and both times it was the same bus (4067).

Observation on the rail end: It looks like one of MARC's gallery cars got tagged up very badly from what I saw at Silver Spring this morning.
