Aight here are pics from today. My first OCT pics.

I knew it, it was either 5409 or 5410 (or both) that moved to Nicholson. I just saw one of those buses, with the -paint scheme that can never, ever, ever be changed at any time- deadheading towards Nicholson division (it was actually on Nicholson Rd) but I couldn't see the number or headlights (they have different headlights since 5409 is a '97 model and 5410 is a '99 model, in case you didn't know)

On the Nicholson tangent, I saw ₀₂5067 on the 4 this morning on Second Avenue. Could this have been another route sent to Silver Spring or another byproduct of the low-floor cutaway situation?

speaking of which, lately I haven't seen a cutaway AT ALL...this morning I went to Germantown Transit Center and saw nothing but baby Gilligs on the 75, 83, 97, and 98 (all of them were in the new scheme). The highest numbered baby Gillig I saw today was 5030, that was at Shady Grove Station less than an hour ago on the 79.

Hmm...I know I'm slightly nearsighted, but am I seeing Gillig Phantoms on the "VanGo" service?  Sorta can't call it "VanGo" if you are running buses on it.

Plus...5613 on the 18?!  I am incredibly out of the loop...never thought I'd see an Orion V on the 18!

Yes both the #4 and the #18 are Silver Spring routes as of September 6, 2009.

RIDE ON:
5315-5349 are the 2009 40' Gillig Advantage hybrids, not 5314-5348 as previously reported by a fleet department supervisor in an Email sent to me last month.  I actually did see 5349 on the 47 earlier this week.

Oh snap forgot all about the shuttle thing. Nice pics and its nice to  see pictures in a new different way sometimes. And the 60 BRT looks like its in the express scheme a little.
