OK - Now I have to ask.  After several times of people asking you to stop listing your sightings of 6101-6106 in boldface, since they've been at Montgomery for several months... You stated that you needed to do this to reduce confusion (I still don't understand) with 6179-6211.  You also listed a DE42LFA in red which you said was to indicate the bus was newly transferred.  Now in this post you have 2814 in blue.  If boldface is to eliminate confusion with like buses, red is to indicate recently moved buses... Please tell me what does the blue mean?

the colors of red and blue simply mean whether they are painted in the new local or express schemes...the normal black font means they are in the older scheme.

Now Christopher, believe me when I say this: EVERYONE knows that 6101-6106 is at Montgomery now, it's is NOT NEWS, it's been like this for MONTHS now, same with 4052-4065 being at Bladensburg

That's what I (and any logical person would think) thought, but the quote below is his explanation which is why I ask the question today.

There is a reason why I have to bold 6101-6106...  This is being done to further avoid confusion between these buses that came over from Annex & these buses (6179-6211) that Montgomery already has!

And the only new bus sighting of the day so far is a little further up this page (bolded in red).

I wouldn't waste my breath. Just goes in one ear and out the other no matter how many times we tell him.

If it continues to be a problem, I could always disable colors altogether...

Be on the lookout for PRTC buses in Tysons Corner soon.  They are starting a new route as part of the HOT Lane construction along the Beltway.  Glad I put those headers in there a couple of years ago before I left!!  I am curious about their beginning point in Woodbridge but I guess they wanted to try and capture some of the VRE crowd from Fredericksburg, which makes some sense.  It's too bad the bus won't have any other connectivity with other routes except at the 123 commuter lot.

I think they should have started it at the Transit Center to provide better connectivity. I did see something a while back about a Tysons route.

My guess is that it was the only bus available at the time. Bad decision. Imagine a 35ft bus on the 8 line here in Baltimore. Gives me the chills just thinking about. One thing I learned from riding the S2 is that it always need a 40ft or higher bus.
