DDOT isn't paying for service if games go beyond midnight, and the Nats don't want to pay either: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/04/22/AR2009042203207.html?hpid=topnews

Honestly, the Nats should pay and it should have been in the lease that it was their responsibility.  What a mess...

Can the Nats just go back to Montreal?  Is it too late? :-)

I never did like baseball.  It's all about the overpaid players and the obscenely wealthy owners.  Now the DC City Council and the DC Mayor are arguing about who gets to use the tickets to their luxury box.  The public be damned.  I have a suggestion - at a late night game all the fans who came by public transportation should just get up and leave en masse when it's time to catch the last train and they should make a lot of noise when they leave the stadium.

I second this, and can we make it so hostile for the Lerners (which MLB settled on) that they're forced to sell?

Bring in a real time like the Marlins to this town...

I said the stadium was a waste of money when they wanted to build it in Arlington.
