Since I know there are a few baseball fans on this board, I'm reposting this message from Subchat's OT Board:

Fantasy Baseball, anyone interested in joining a league?

Posted by Newkirk Plaza David on Thu Mar 5 12:00:14 2009 I am thinking of forming a Yahoo Fantasy Baseball league, appropriately called the Subchat league. Here are a few details: 1. I would like at least a league of ten players, but I will settle for 8, even numbers preferred. 2. It will be head-to-head competition. 3. Live draft will take place at a pre-determined date, most likely one weekeday early evening (around 6-7 PM). 4. There will be a good number of trades and waivers allowed, at least 50 moves each. Sorry, no daily starting picther pick and dumps (you choose the SP who is scheduled to pitch for the night then dump him for another SP). Yea, I used to do that in the 2008 season, have 3 pitchers each night who were starters. I think it would be a nice way to have fun while going for bragging rights to see who is the best manager. We will use the Yahoo basic (free) league. Players will be: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3 OF, 2 SP, 2 RP, 2 P, and six bench players. Thoughts? Comments? Send me an email if you are interested and we all can discuss here as to a convenient night for all of us participating in the live draft.
