Actually its a huge deal.   to get back to downtown, I have to go all the way around the city and make a transfer which as we know is fraught with problems.  Finally, as a South Arlingtonian, I am frankly sick and tired of being the red headed step child of everything from poorer schools and now poorer Metro.  Why is it that the wealthy orange line riders get the extra trains and not my and my South Arlington neighbors who pay the same fares and the same taxes.  How about this for an idea.  The mix of trains remains the same since you are right there are only so many trains one can put through a tunnel and the Orange and Silver line people  can just suck it up and live with the same number of trains they get now.  Or maybe the folks forced to use the Yellow Line don't pay rush hour fare.  I remind you HALF of all blue line trains will go away under the current aptly named brown line proposal.

I know what the proposal is and I know what your opinion is.  But you sound like a broken record, and you don't have any feasible proposals on how to solve the problem any other way.  I think it is time you give it a rest.

I have provided several options from do nothing to build more rail.  Pick one depending on how much you wish to spend.  Metro simply chooses to pick the easiest one.  And we all know there is always one solution that is cheap and easy and WRONG.
