Coming to D.C. Weekend of 10/22- BTW, did Megabus suddenly get expensive?

I just tried to book two tickets at their site (40 days in advance of our planned trip as of this writing), and they want $61 round-trip for Beth and I to board at the Christiansburg stop.  With the success of this leg, I'm guessing MB is realizing they've maxed volume and need to make real profit?  It's still a hell of a great deal considering Greyhound wants $170-200 for the same trip from Roanoke, but the Mrs. and I agree that we might as well drive. (Gas in our Caravan would cost just 12 bucks more than Megabus fare, we can leave when we want, and we can also take our dog Xander with us- our hotel will be pet-friendly.)
