If it's a straight route with not much in the way of turns, maybe. For your average twisty-turny Ride On route, no. Remember, the turning radius for an artic is less than that of a 45' bus.

When it becomes time for Ride On to buy new CNG buses, an order of NABI Compobuses 45C-Metro's for primary use on the 46, 55, and 70 (and maybe 100 at the peak of rush hour) might be something they could look into. Remember, the then-Compobus did visit Ride On years ago, it might work out well since those routes are largely straight and carry a lot of people.

(Laughing) That would be cool wouldn't it? In the early days of MCT-RO, notably in the times they had the TMC Citycruisers and the 1984 Orion I's, I could think of perhaps at least five M-A-N SG-310 or, to be more American, the Crown/Ikarus 286 artics (Detroit Diesel 6L-71TA engine, rather than the Cummins Big Cam) in their fleet.
