Interesting we have seen the Orion VIIs in the new paint but not the Orion Vs.  Are they not loved?

Although there have been some exceptions (some of the D40LFs), WMATA buses get repainted at their mid-life rehab.  The Orion Vs were rehabbed a few years ago.

I personally wouldn't want to see resources put into repainting two groups of buses that are winding down their careers at WMATA.

Yup the Orion VIs and 2100s apparently were the last ones rehabbed in the now old scheme.  I was kinda surprised as I thought the VIs would've been repainted into the new scheme.

The last few Orion VIs were rehabbed around the time the C40LFs started rehab. In fact, 2320 was rehabbed before 10 of the Orion VIs, 2394 rehabbed before 2 of those (according to the rehab numbers)
