Considering how the station is similarly designed to many WMATA stations, I have to wonder... those overhead lights are fairly unobtrusive-looking, and one has to wonder if that could be the solution to WMATA's dark stations, though it would certainly be a culture shift for WMATA on lighting.

Very Sci-fi.  I'm sure if you ask WMATA to do such lighting, they'll say "I'm sorry, Dave...I'm afraid I can't do that...."

I guess I can see that on some of the platforms with the side platforms, but how would you address the island platforms?
