Grant for Langley Park transit center                Plans to build a transit center   in Langley Park to serve bus riders in Montgomery and Prince George's   counties got a boost Tuesday when members of Maryland's congressional   delegation announced a $818,300 federal grant to design and build the   center.
The transit center, which the Maryland Transit Administration plans   to build at the northwest corner of University Boulevard and New   Hampshire Avenue in the Langley/Takoma Park area, would be designed to   offer a comfortable shelter where bus passengers could wait out of the   weather and a safer place for them to transfer between buses. About a   dozen bus routes converge in that area, serving about 30,000 residents,   state officials said. The highly congested area also has a high   concentration of pedestrian accidents and fatalities.
The transit center also would be a major stop on the state's planned Purple Line light rail line between Bethesda and New Carrollton.

Are they referring to the TIGER grant or is this something additional?  I thought they already designed it...I guess it's time for engineering and such?
