I have no idea. Apparently the common login is having problems with these buses with showing the block number correctly. Some operators put it in manually, but others just keep it like that.

Wonderful pictures as always, Wayne!  Interesting to see all of the wheel covers disappear.  Are the new BRTs that are coming in equipped with wheel covers too?

Those LFAs look SO much better with the wheel covers removed.  They're actually starting to grow on me now that they have shed that few pounds of ugly plastic.
Once all the goats are rounded up, the German tourists are extradited, and the syrup trucks are returned, you'll have to admit that you never saw that one coming.

Yeesh, are THAT many Metro Bs running around with blank or half-blank signs?  The LFAs are looking lovely without the wheelcovers.  Let those beautiful alcoas shine!
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard that those wheel covers created more problems during the snow events this past winter so they removed them, logical, and they do look alot better without them....anyway it is what it is. ???
On another note 6560 should be they now keep your eyes peeled, I'll keep you posted if I see any more.  8)

Yes, many of the remaining Metro-Bs have malfunctioning signs.  I think WMATA gave up on maintaining them and a few units actually got the signs from some of the early Metro-D retirees.  Here's one of them.

It's probably at the acceptance facility where they usually stay for a couple of weeks or so.
