What were the last WMATA MetroBus buses to be delivered in the late 1970s paint scheme? I would like some pictures of them, please.

The Orion 4200's and 3900's came with the newer paint scheme (3rd paint scheme) as did the 3700 series Orion II's.  Everything else you mentioned came with the 2nd paint scheme that was placed on the coaches around 1983 or 1984.

The first coach I rode with that scheme was Flx New Look 8300.  That was around the time the GM Fishbowls were getting overhauled and placed into that scheme as well.

Forgot about those.  Yes, those got the 2nd treatment in the 80's when the others did as well.
